I had to, I just had to! I freaking love Delphox! Serebii.net may have said that Delphox is good for nothing in the competitive field, but I intend to prove otherwise! I mean, it's Fire/Psychic, two of my favorite types, (tied for second just a hare behind Dragon) rolled into one pokemon that's an anthropomorphic Fennec Fox! That's several of my favorite things rolled into one! I'm going to find a way to make this puppy work for me!
Anyways, I'd like to think that each Delphox is unique, you know, they might have their own different markings. Here's what I'd like to think what Mandoon, my Delphox, would look like. He's a younger mage, quite rash at times, actually, and can be vain and stubborn. (Oddly enough, quite like Krod Mandoon, for whom he is named after. Rash nature, Somewhat Vain.) Still, Mandoon is the undisputed leader of Athena's team and only wants what's best for his extended family, even if he sometimes bites off more then he can chew.
Mandoon often has that cocky, sly, fox-like grin, that always makes you wonder just what he's up to. He's got a small goatee (Hey, a lot of wizards have beards, Mandoon's still young, so he's got a starter one!) and the fur on top of his head is somewhat stiff, like a moehawk. Mandoon's knotted wood staff is topped with a carving of a Salamence. Dragons are often symbols of magic and power, not to mention wizardly, plus Salamence is my favorite Dragon type. Again, I'd like to think that each Delphox has it's own unique staff, or perhaps their staff/wand is an indication of level and power. A freshly evolved one might just have a burning stick, but as they grow in level, their stick starts to become more ornate.
Yup, that's just my take on it, anyways. I love the Fennekin line, they're possibly my new favorite Fire Starter line, even moving Charmander to second favorite, to be honest. Happy Gamming, everyone, and may the odds be ever in my favor! Team Fennekin, and proud of it!
