Alright, perhaps a little story to go with this.

Kirby was victorious in a partularly brutal battle against a nasty demon. Though victory came at a heavy toll, and little Kirby was left badly wounded. Meta Knight found him, nearly beaten to death, and whisks him off to his home. Even though the little guy probably can't hear him, Meta Knight tells his apprentice just how proud he is. Kirby could have fled, only he didn't. He stayed and fought, like a true warrior. So after cleaning and bandaging up the little fighter, Meta Knight places him on a fur rug by the fire to keep him warm. He sits down next to his apprentice to keep him company, reading a book to occupy himself. A short time later, Meta Knight feels something tug on his cape and he glances over to his apprentice. Kirby's begining to stir, and grabs a handful of his mentor's cape, tossing it over him like a blanket, before drifting back off to sleep, with a corner of cape still held in his hand. Yes, tonight is for recovery.

Yes, it's cute and full of fluff, but you know what? I like these two together. No, before you start, NOT as lovers! More of a mentor/apprentice, guardian/child thing.

Lazy background, I know. But that rug looks very cozy. All you need is a cup of hot chocolate and you're all set!

Perhaps I'll do another one where Kirby takes care of an injured Meta Knight. Turn about is fair play, right?
